Nobody here takes a salary. Every dollar buys something real.
Gg’s House is 100% volunteer-run and 100% donation-funded. Money covers rent, utilities, fuel and the gaps our donated stock doesn’t fill — usually hygiene items, diapers and cleaning supplies.

The building fund
Our current building is for sale. This is the campaign to buy Gg’s House a permanent home. Any amount — a dollar counts — and donors go up on the recognition board.

What we need most right now
Donated goods are the engine of this place. These are the things that go out the door faster than they come in:
- Winter clothing — gloves, hats, shoes and socks
- Blankets and warm bedding
- Hygiene products — soap, shampoo, toothpaste, razors, period products, diapers
- Cleaning supplies and laundry soap
- Food — shelf-stable groceries especially
- Office & household basics — printer paper, bin bags, towels
We also take general clothing and household goods whenever we have the storage space for them.

Two things that really help us
Call ahead for large loads
Space is genuinely tight until we get into a bigger building. Ring (503) 359-3871 before bringing a big drop so we can clear room and have hands ready.
Please don’t leave things outside
Donations left at the door get rained on, picked through, or become someone else’s problem to bin. Hand them to a volunteer during open hours: Monday to Thursday, 10am–1pm.

Shop Second Chance Treasures
Our little secondhand boutique in the same building. Every purchase funds Gg’s House, and it doubles as job training — customer service, money handling and retail experience for people rebuilding a work history.
Open Wednesday and Thursday, 10am–1pm, plus Monday and Tuesday as needed. Use the “B” door and ask a volunteer, and they’ll let you in through “A”.
